Contributing to open researchCase Studies
In 2023 UKRN and Jisc convened a group of national representatives of professional and technical staff to discuss how their work contributed to open research. You can read a report of that roundtable workshop.
As one follow-up activity, a series of six case studies have been written by staff from very different institutions, illustrating the wide variety of contributions to different aspects of open research across a very diverse sector. Even with this variety, we recognise that not all types of contribution are represented in these case studies, and would be interested in adding to this collection. If you are interested authoring a case study, please email contact@ukrn.org.
We hope these case studies will help raise the profile of the many professional and technical staff whose work is essential to make research open and rigorous.
