Thomas Pollet

Thomas Pollet is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Northumbria University. His research focuses on understanding the wealth of social relationships people have and understanding the role of individual differences (e.g. personality, height and hormones) for these social relationships from an interdisciplinary framework. He is also interested in improving methodology and statistics and frequently collaborates with others on diverse topics. Thomas’ main areas of interest for presenting are replication studies in social and evolutionary psychology, providing a basic introduction to the Open Science Framework and pre-registration practices, statistics in R (e.g. meta-analytical techniques) and teaching R at MRes level.
