Today the UK Research Network (UKRN) has released its first strategy and annual plan, outlining the network’s three-year goals and specific activities for the coming year. This plan, created through extensive member consultation and evidence, will be updated annually. The plan sets out where we as a network of three communities – researchers, institutions and stakeholders in the research system – aim to be in three years, and it describes the activities we’ll prioritise over that time. It builds on a range of evidence and work over the past many months and its primary role is to guide the effective use of limited resources and serve as a reference for those interested in the network’s work.
