We are delighted to welcome Savita Rana as the new chair of the UKRN Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee.
Savita Rana is the Associate Director of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London.
We offer our huge thanks to the outgoing chair, Shraddha Chaudhary. As the inaugural chair of this committee, Shraddha played a key role in establishing and developing their scope, including work to review award and recognition criteria and communications to be more inclusive, and to set clear EDI priorities within the UKRN Action plan.
Savita is look forward to working with the committee members and building upon the leadership set by Shraddha, we are sure Savita will do the role justice. Welcome aboard.
