UKRN and ORP recognise strike action

Many people who are part of UKRN are also members of unions who are currently taking strike action in disputes with their employing institutions. In recognition of this, wherever possible UKRN is not scheduling events on strike days. This includes both events that are open to all, and internal UKRN meetings including those as part of the Open Research Programme.
