UKRN welcomes The University of East Anglia (UEA) to the network, with Dr Stephanie Rossit from their School of Psychology appointed as Institutional Lead.
Fiona Lettice, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation at UEA, said: “We are delighted to join UKRN and to have the opportunity to work collaboratively across the sector. As a university we want to continue to improve the quality and trustworthiness of our research, as we seek to understand and address some of the most important global challenges facing society.”
“Stephanie has been at UEA since 2013 and her interdisciplinary research has focussed on the intersection of neuroscience, psychology and medicine. She brings a wealth of experience to the role having already worked as a local lead for UKRN.”
Dr Rossit said: “I am excited to take on this role and work across the University, and with UKRN, to develop open research practices at UEA. I am passionate about open research practices because they ensure transparency across the research lifecycle, promoting rigour, reproducibility, and public trust in research.”
Marcus Munafò, Chair of UKRN, said: “It’s fantastic that the number of institutions that have formally joined UKRN continues to grow, and it’s a real pleasure to be able to welcome UEA to that group. We look forward to working together collaboratively to promote research quality.”
